Buy Logs - Firewood to Buy

We sell logs by volume rather than weight as volume is a constant measure.
As wood dries (seasons) it loses weight through moisture loss.

Buying by weight is not a fair indication of the amount of logs you will receive.

We deliver wood logs loose by the cubic metre or in bags:

• logs in carry size nets (avg. 15 logs/net)
• 1m3 (cubic metre bulk bags -see above picture)
• 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, 10m3 (cubic metre) loose loads by tipper trailer
• max load 10m3
• kindling fire lighters in handy carry size nets

Firewood Log Delivery

Your seasoned logs are delivered loose or in bags by pick up or tipping trailer.

We do not have a facility for you to collect logs from our depot.

We will always try to accommodate any special delivery needs.

Dried in store to approx. 20% moisture content and approx 8 inch in length.

£6 per handy carry size net - larger than garage forecourt nets by almost double - and the wood is dry!

Minimum order 10 nets

Ideal as a practical gift delivered direct to the recipient or where storage and access is limited e.g. tenement dwellings.

Ideal to share with neighbours or friends

These are excellent if you have a limited log storage area or prefer the convenience of a net size amount for use in a Chiminea for example.

We charge for delivery based on the distance from our base to the destination.

The press of a button places the logs as close as we can get them to your log storage area.

We aim to make the process of keeping your fire or stove stocked as simple as possible.

Stacking Service

If it all seems a bit daunting, ask us about our stacking service – available from 1 cubic metre bags upwards.

We offer a log stacking service for those who require assistance or need loads moved quickly. It can take up to an hour for one person to move and stack 1m3, depending on the distance. This is charged at £20/hr per person.

With a tipping trailer, loads couldn’t be simpler provided you have enough access for a pick up truck and 10 foot trailer.
