It is important to keep logs dry after we deliver them as they are delivered to you ready to burn.
The ideal bulk firewood log storage sheds are similar to the log store below which has good air flow as your logs still contain some moisture.
Stacking your logs - means you will be able to have a higher volume of wood in a smaller area.
Dry wood is a must for any type of wood burning. You must either buy pre-dried timber and keep it dry, or season your own.
This storage shed for logs has been designed in a modular fashion, therefore, facilitating both types of approach.
Log Stores
A typical logstore has slatted side walls made of wood with a roof which will not allow rain or snow penetration.
One log store holds 1.5 cubic metres of logs, if you are buying pre-dried timber this may be adequate for your needs.
However, if you are naturally seasoning larger quantities just join two or more storage sheds together side by side or back to back. Remember burning dry wood will give you efficient, cost effective heating.
